I believe Iset is an exception. There have been several of those, including a sister of Echnaton. Maybe because she was not a goddess to begin with. Priest Seth for me is Sety however, and not Seth… This is Yami’s part :P Taking my pencils along..

I don’t associate priest Seto with Seth, I mean he was named after the god (figures, since his prototype most likely is Seti I who comes from a family of priests of Seth, as findings suggest). Just as Atem bears the god’s full name. I’m just… happy to see any evidence that makes YGO story more realistic. ^^

Oh, and guess what? Thutmosis III’s mother was called Iset (Isis). I always thought that Takahashi’s habit of giving his characters names of gods (without any alteration) was just an author’s liberty. Well, it appears I was wrong. Nice to know. :3

I’ll still call the priest Seto instead of Seth to distinguish him from the god of the same name. I mention both of them often enough.))
